The craft of tailoring has been passed down in the Macenauer family for several generations. Grandfather Josef Macenauer was the director of OP Prostějov in its heyday. His father expanded the family business with his own company, developing software solutions for production management in textile companies. His mother, skilled in tailoring, applied her expertise within the family business. From an early age, Leo gained valuable experience and a deep passion for the fashion industry, inspired by the craftsmanship of his grandfather and parents.

This passion led him to study at Tomas Bata University in Zlín and later at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Fashion in London. To refine his skills, he interned at Calvin Klein in Milan and trained on London’s renowned Savile Row, working with Buxton Pickles and at Charlie Allen's flagship salon.

For years, the Leo Macenauer showroom in the center of Prague at Soukenická 13 provided a space for discerning gentlemen seeking the highest level of bespoke tailoring. Today, the brand has transitioned to an exclusive online presence, continuing to serve clients with the same dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
